Sedona Tour. Leave early in the morning (7-8am) and return around 5-6pm. You are whisked away up to Montezuma Castle for about an hour, then to Jerome (Old mining town) for an hour and then into Sedona for about three hours. Stay on the van and sight see or do a jeep ride! The cost for the Sedona tour in a group van is about $94/person. The Wine jeep tour is $99/person. To use the Van there has to be a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 people. If more than 12 at least 18 people are required.




Seasonal Sporting Event. Go watch the Phoenix Coyotes play a game. For their schedule click here.


The Grand Canyon Deluxe Tour is $399 and departs at 7:00am and returns at 3:00pm. It offers spectacular views of the Painted Desert, Sedona, the Flagstaff San Francisco Peaks and the Grand Canyon’s breathtaking vistas. You will land at the Grand Canyon Airport for a guided tour of the South Rim with its beautiful outlooks, visible hotels and unique shopping opportunities. I didn’t include just the aerial tour because it leaves at 3:00pm and returns at 6:00pm, too late for dinner, etc.




Hot Air Balloon. $195/person, 12 or more it is $175/person


Camelback Golf Course is two miles from the Doubletree. The rate is $79 which includes the resort’s 20% discount.


Pool Retreat. Relax by the pool at the Doubletree Resort.
Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. Located three miles from the hotel. There is a free Downtown Trolley that runs every 10 minutes from the Mall through Old Town, the Arts District, Fifth Avenue Shops and the Waterfront.
